It’s raining all over India, and we all know it’s weird to rain in this month. But, think of it, whether it rains or not, every one of us would love to clean our cars. Washing your ride is a job at which the decisions of most petrolheads got biased. Some people just simply love to keep their car shining like a new one while some like to play it dirty. While keeping your ride in a shining position would result into more future benefits, here are the 5 most easy and effective ways to wash your car as fast as possible.

EQUIPMENT
Well, starting with the first thing, comes in equipment in itself. You can’t wash your car effectively until or unless you don’t have the correct “guns” to fight “the war”.
Starting with the equipment list, the first thing is water – Get your water right. A salty stream of water would kill the body of your car. Avoid that.

Pressure Jet – Although a costly product that goes above 8K bucks, but worth it!
A pressure jet would not only ensure the fast pressure jet stream of water but also make that stream of water touch the car parts politely. A pressure jet is simple to use and get’s connected directly to the water supply pipe of your house. Using it would cut down most of the mud & fickle material attached to your underbody, tires and underguards.

Shampoo – The mistake that people do most often is choosing the correct liquid. I live in India and have gone to washing stations more than I have gone to a grocery store. Most of the washing station, I mean most of them…. use SURF! That’s ridiculous! How can you simply use surf for washing a delicate car body? Hilarious!
Opt for the special liquids and washing shampoos, they won’t cost you more than 200 bucks and would give you optimum washing power, shine and paint protection.
Brushes & Cloth/Sponge – Used mainly to rub the underbody parts and tires and engine bay, brushes should be choosed wisely. Long and flexible brushes are recommended and can be ordered from any online shopping site.
Always use a clean cotton cloth before merging it into shampoo. A dirty cloth can result into scratches all over. Avoid that.

That’s where you look from! That’s why.
Windscreen and windows should be one of the most prior things and should be cleaned properly. Best way? Use a pure cotton cloth and shampoo and wash them the very first before your shampoo gets dirty.
Always and always use delicate cloth and good shampoo to clean them. Wash them simultaneously with water just after shampooing them, so that, no shampoo marks are left over any of the screens.

UNDERBODY

Well, most of the people don’t pay attention to underbody, and that’s where they make a mistake! Underbody parts are the least take care of and are most prone to rust.
Parts like running board, petrol pipes and diesel pipes, suspensions etc come under this category and need to be paid attention. Always try to wash these parts and clean them thoroughly with shampoo in order to prevent them from rusting. Use of water pressure jet is preferred over here. This would increase the life of your ride.

ENGINE BAY

Engine bay is something that people don’t look much often and, is, generally popped up only when something goes wrong with the engine. Now, something goes wrong with engine because it had not been popped up since time. That’s a funny situation though, but, you can skip such situations by washing engine bay regularly.
Washing with proper pressure and shampoo results in clean engine parts and thus troubles, if any, can be detected easily and troubleshooted quickly. Clean engine bay can help in detecting engine problems like valve leakages or any other. So, always keep your engine bay clean like the rest of your car.

TIRES & UNDERGUARDS

You must be thinking that this point is a worthless mention but it’s not. A side of clean tire is what we all look at, but, a tire cleaned from both side is something where most of us fail. Try to clean your tires and rims deeply and break pads so ensure their proper working. Mud and other dirt attached to the parts like brake pads, suspension, swingarms are prone to rusting if not cleaned or washed frequently. Proper care should be taken of such parts.
Also underguard area of your tire section, the plastic cladded one, must be washed properly everytime while washing. Try to get your tires cleaned from the other side which is not reachable to you, while getting your ride cleaned on a washing bay. The areas that cant be accessed easily by human hands need to be cleaned.
